Death scene #2

After our criticisms from our teacher, we took her advice and went into one of the drama rooms to film the same scenes again with the black background and red scenes to create connotations of sultry and sophistication. However, with time constraints we had within the room, we found it difficult to film all the scenes, alongside other issues. Below is the final setup we used, with the lighting how we wanted it.

Also, here are all the props that were used during filming:

One of the many difficulties that we had was the lighting. Whilst one light was too dark, we felt as if two lights was too bright and was not giving us the shadows we wanted. We chose to go with one light, and use phone flashlights if necessary.

We also had spent a lot of time setting up the stage, with us having to iron a set piece and also keep it all in the correct places with tape. This took up a lot of our time, leaving us with perhaps only an hour to film.

Whilst some of what we shot was very cinematic and looked beautiful, it was not what we exactly had in mind, therefore leading to some changes for when  we next shoot.
